Mawlid al-Nabi celebration

On November 9, the celebration of the Mawlid al-Nabi was held at the mosque in Seville, where we celebrated the birth of our beloved Prophet Muhammad, salla allahu alaihi wa sallam, which was sent as the Seal of the Prophets and as a mercy to all of humanity

In that celebration, Sura Yasin was first recited for the death of a deceased brother of the Muslim community of Seville. Then several qasidas of praise to the Prophet were recited, salla allahu alaihi wa sallam. Finally, Hajj Abdelghani Melara gave a speech about love for the Messenger of Allah, salla allahu alaihi wa sallam and what it meant for humanity.

The little ones also enjoyed activities related to the Mawlid, where they drew and learned in a fun way the meaning of this celebration.

After the speech a dinner was offered for all attendees.

Hopefully this celebration reminds us of what the Prophet of Allah had, salla allahu alaihi wa sallam, and that the light of his Sunna and his memory help us all to guide us on the straight path, Insha´Allah.
