The Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Seville has sent us the content of the message of condolence sent by HM King Mohammed VI to the Sovereigns of Spain, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, for the vile terrorist attack that shook the tourist area of the centre of Barcelona.
In this message, HM the King claims to have received with enormous consternation and strong condemnation the news of the execrable terrorist attack that has shaken the tourist area of the centre of Barcelona, claiming the lives of several innocent victims and causing numerous injuries.
The Sovereign expressed to the King and Queen of Spain the energetic condemnation and profound repudiation of the Kingdom of Morocco to this vile criminal aggression, “opposed to all human values and religious teachings, which has sought to threaten the security and stability of your neighbouring and friendly country”.
On this mournful occasion, HM the King has conveyed to King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, to the families of the victims and to all the Spanish people, his most sincere condolences and deep feelings of solidarity and compassion, asking the Almighty to bring a speedy recovery to the injured, to welcome the deceased in his holy mercy, and grant them as well as their families and friends all their consolation.
The Sovereign also reiterated to the King and Queen of Spain the expression of Morocco’s absolute solidarity with Spain, a friendly country, as well as its full commitment to international efforts aimed at combating the scourge of terrorism and eradicating its sources, expressing his most sincere feelings of sympathy and compassion, together with the highest expression of his consideration.
