Ramadan between cultures’, round table at the Foundation Three Cultures of the Mediterranean

Within the program “Ramadan between Cultures” of the Three Cultures Foundation of the Mediterranean, on Tuesday, April 26, a second session was held with a panel discussion under the title; ¨Singularity and universality of the spiritual experience in the religions of the book: Easter, Pesach and Ramadan ¨.

After welcoming remarks by Ms. Concha de Santa Ana, Managing Director of Fundación Tres Culturas, an illustrious debate began, moderated by Antonio Chaves Rendón, Head of Strategic Planning and Programming at Fundación Tres Culturas.

The debate was represented by; Ms. Varda Fiszbein, representative of the Jewish Community of Seville, Mr. Pedro Ruiz – Berdejo Ferrari, First Secretary of the Brotherhood of Jesus del Gran Poder and Mr. Jalid Nieto, Vice-president of the Seville Mosque Foundation.

At the conclusion, a generous iftar was served to all present followed by a beautiful concert by the Almawsily Trio.
