In continuity with our work of attending the University guild, not only in Seville, but also in other cities and countries. This time we attended a young American from the city of Los Angeles. Jake Robbins, a Harvard-Westlake School student, who has traveled with a scholarship for a study of contemporary Islam in Spain and also his historical presence.
He told us in presenting the purpose of his project, that his research stemmed from the need in the United States to present Islam not as the problem itself, but as a religion that promotes the good of humanity, since today it is presented to public opinion with this media load.
We hope that his example will be contagious to the American intelligentsia and will not be satisfied with the prevailing opinion without being personally contrasted. We wish him to successfully complete the journey and the work.
