The Islamic Community in Spain expresses without any doubt our rejection and aberration of the violent and inhumane attack perpetrated today in Barcelona, condemning it without any palliative.
We have always expressed the feeling of revulsion at such acts and have rejected all kinds of crimes around the world, and in particular those unjustifiably perpetuated in the name of Islam and Muslims.
We echo the pain, which we have suffered this time in our country, and we wish to convey our most sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and our wish for a speedy recovery to the injured.
As part of the society in which we live and as Spanish Muslims, we show our full support to our Government and State security forces, and all those who are doing a great job in the fight against this nihilistic, atrocious and anti-Islamic phenomenon.
The Islamic Community in Spain wants to emphasize that Muslims are also part of the collective fighting, openly and energetically, against terrorism, and that it is mostly Muslims who suffer and suffer the atrocities and barbarities of this kind on a daily basis, throughout the world.
