Meeting with Dr. Mehmet Görmez, former president of religious affairs of Turkey

The delegation of the Seville Mosque Foundation, during the trip to Turkey, met with Dr. Mehmet Görmez, former president of religious affairs of the Republic of Turkey, in the city of Ankara.

Dr. Mehmet Görmez recently visited the Seville Mosque Foundation and the Mosque of Granada. During this visit he had the opportunity to meet with Malik Abderrahman Ruíz, president of the Islamic Community in Spain and spoke of the project to build an Islamic cultural center and mosque in the city of Seville. Dr. Mehmet Görmez offered his support and advice during this meeting and was able to help make this project a reality.

During the last meeting, which took place at Dr. Mehmet Görmez’s office in Ankara, he repeated his support, advice and help to the delegation of the Seville Mosque Foundation.
