Meeting with the Diyanet Vakfi Foundation, Ankara, Turkey

Last Thursday, March the 2nd, 2017, the delegation of the Seville Mosque Foundation, with the presence and support from the President of the Islamic Community in Spain and the Director of the Great Mosque of Granada, had the honor to meet with the Diyanet Foundation Vakfi, in their headquarters in Ankara, Turkey. This meeting focused on the presentation of the project of the Islamic Cultural Center, Mosque and Awqaf of Seville. This meeting has been an honor for the Seville Mosque Foundation and we would like to highlight the warm hospitality we have been received. As a result, a work commission has been created to promote the procedures for the project support.

With this trip in early 2017 the Seville Mosque Foundation wants to continue strengthening ties with Turkey, relations that come from many years ago, where it is possible to highlight the two occasions we have had the honor of receiving Recep Tayyip Erdogan , President of Turkey, to the Great Mosque of Granada (both entities, Seville Mosque Foundation and Granada Mosque Foundation are under the umbrella of the Islamic Community in Spain).

The merits of the Diyanet Vakfi Foundation are well-known, endorsed with more than 43 years of work with countless projects carried out around the world, millions of people can certify this work and hundreds of projects completed and giving their fruit testify by their tireless work.

Once again we want to thank the hospitality and the exquisite manners that the Vakfi Foundation has shown during the visit of our delegation. The meeting has been a success and we will continue working together on the project of the Islamic Cultural Center of Seville.
