Islam and Heritage in Europe: What does Islam mean for Europe?

Opening of the series Islam and Heritage in Europe. Promoted by Fundación Las Fuentes, this first session will feature speeches by José Antonio González Alcantud (University of Granada) and Jalid Nieto (Seville Mosque Foundation) who will talk about the meaning of Islam for Europe, its influence and its future. Nights of Ramadan, promoting the encounter

The festival Noches de Ramadan was born in 2006 in the neighborhood of Lavapiés (Madrid) with the aim of promoting integration and cultural cooperation between citizens living in the same public space.

Throughout the various editions held in Madrid and Cordoba, Nights of Ramadan has become a unique meeting to raise awareness of the culture of the Muslim world, so present in our common history, where some can celebrate their most important holiday and others can share and learn from the reality of their closest neighbors.
