The president of the Islamic Community in Spain announces that, having been sighted the fourth crescent of the moon in Spain, tomorrow, Thursday, May 13, will be the first day of the month of Shawwal and, therefore, the holiday of Eid al-Fitr.
Allah says in the Qur’an:
“Allah wants for you the easy and not the difficult, but He wants you to complete the number (of days) and to proclaim the greatness of Allah for having guided you. May you be grateful!”.
Qur’an, 2-185
Congratulations to the entire Muslim community on this day of celebration. We ask Allah to accept the effort of fasting, shower it with reward and seal it with an Eid day full of blessings.
