On March 5, 6, 7 and 8, the IV Andalusian Meetings will take place in Seville. After many years since its last edition, this year there will be activities related to the legacy of Al-Andalus and Ibn-Arabi with the aim of recovering the legacy of the “Sublime Master” or “The greatest of the Masters” in an Al-Andalus where the sciences and arts reached their maximum exponent, forever marking the history of Andalusia. The conference will feature lectures from the University of Seville by Aisha Bewley, Ángeles Castaño and Jalid Nieto. They will also have a guided tour by Khalid Nieto and activities organized by the Mosque Foundation of Seville.
We hope that these conferences will serve to reaffirm the historical legacy of Al-Andalus and the great men and women who contributed their grain of sand to the flourishing of the arts, sciences and thought in general. We also hope that this event will become an annual event that serves to disseminate knowledge and to bring together people who share the same legacy and the same history.
