Yesterday, we had the honour of receiving Dr. Kenan Oral at the headquarters of the Fundación Mezquita de Sevilla on the occasion of a courtesy farewell visit. After three years of dedicated work and cooperation in Spain, Dr. Oral returns to Turkey to assume a new professional position.
Throughout his stay in Spain, Dr. Oral has been a fundamental link in our collaboration with Turkish institutions, facilitating important contributions such as the generous donations of books by the Diyanet and the Turkish Consulate. These resources, which range from educational texts to specialized children’s literature, have significantly strengthened our community materials. Beyond academic support, our alliance has thrived through joint social and religious initiatives, highlighting the coordination of food distributions for those most in need and collaboration in Islamic festivals. These shared efforts have served to strengthen the bonds of our community and provide essential support to many families.
We want to express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Oral for his tireless work and for the bridge of brotherhood and understanding that he has helped to build between our institutions. His presence has been invaluable and leaves behind a lasting legacy of collaboration. We wish him the best in his future projects and the greatest success in his new stage in Turkey.
