On September 26, 2025, the Mezquita de Sevilla Foundation was awarded the “Seville Committed City” award by the Seville City Council, in an emotional gala held at the Three Cultures Foundation. This recognition, which came on our 20th anniversary, highlighted the social work we carry out for the benefit of the citizens of Seville.
We deeply appreciated this gesture and the words of the Deputy Mayor, José Luis García, who stressed that “our city advances when it does so united”. This award, which we share with all the award-winning entities and with those who make our path possible, is not an end point but an important impulse that encourages us to redouble our efforts in the development of the Islamic Cultural Center of Seville. We trust that this project will become a fundamental tool to continue promoting and enhancing our service and commitment to society, working with humility and determination for a fairer, more united and supportive Seville.
