On January 14, a gala dinner was held to raise funds for the Seville Mosque Foundation project to build a mosque and Islamic cultural center in Seville.
The dinner was organized by El Faeza Ul-Haqq Productions and Mohammed Siddiq of the Tirmidhi Foundation and took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The dinner began with a recitation of the Koran and featured the performance of artists such as Faizal Tahir and Lah Ahamed, as well as the Andalusian music group Hamid Ajbar Ensamble, who were specially invited for this event. Ustad Zul Rambli and Ibrahim Hernández, vice president of the Seville Mosque Foundation, also spoke during the event. The event was hosted by actress and host Daphne Iking.
Finally, a silent auction of works of art made by Spanish artists and with Andalusian motifs was held.
The Seville Mosque Foundation wants to thank the organizers of this event, the artists, who participated in it voluntarily, the sponsors, the media, and all the guests for their presence, welcoming and supporting the project.
We look forward to participating and organizing many more events that unite the hearts of Muslims around the world.
