Mawlid Celebration

On Wednesday, December 23, at 8:30 p.m., the Mawlid an Nabi, birth of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings upon him, will be celebrated in the Mosque of Ponce de León, with an evening of Dhikr.
The remembrance of Muhammad’s birth, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, is a luminous sign in the history of Islam; and it is worthy of this remembrance and celebration; and to gather for her to remember Allah, Glorified and Exalted, to study the Sira and everything that is related to it, such as: giving food, keeping family ties, helping the needy, orphans… and anything that is to seek the Sunnah (the beautiful example of the Messenger) to follow it and take as an example its beautiful qualities of character.

“Surely I have been sent to perfect the noble qualities of character.” The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.

With the same purpose on Sunday there was a celebration of the Mawlid for the little ones, in which they were told about the meaning of this day and its importance.
