Last July 31 marked a historic moment for the project of the Islamic Cultural Center of Seville, with the official reception of theBasic Project, drafted by our architect, Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra. This comprehensive document, which forms the central core for the application for the building permit, represents the technical embodiment of our vision. Its completion symbolizes the crucial transition from the ideas and planning phase to the construction preparation phase.
The Basic Project is a compendium of more than 100 pages of descriptive report, location plans, floors, elevations, sections and specialized studies of accessibility and facilities. This milestone is the result of meticulous work and brings the start of the works tangible closer, laying the solid foundations on which the project will be built.
In parallel to the Basic Project, the Health and Safety Study has been completed and delivered, with its corresponding approval from the Official College of Technical Architecture of Seville.
