Video of the Press and Institutional Briefing

On Thursday 16th July, the Seville Mosque Foundation hosted a press and institutional briefing at the Eurostars Torre Sevilla Hotel. Designed as a forum for transparency and precision, the event provided an opportunity to present the project for the Islamic Cultural Centre of Seville.

We would like to express our gratitude to all attendees for their presence and constructive attitude.

During the session, we followed a clear and structured agenda to address all key aspects:

• Institutional opening, led by communications advisor Luqman Nieto, who welcomed guests and set the context for the meeting.

• Project presentation, delivered by Vice President Jalid Nieto, who outlined the core pillars, objectives, and social and cultural impact of the initiative.

• Architectural and urban planning details, presented by Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra, who offered an architectural overview of the design, its integration into the surrounding area, and the site’s feasibility.

• Official response to matters of public interest, read by Board Advisor Jadiya Martínez, addressing all doubts and objections raised in recent days.

• Institutional statement by President Ibrahim Hernández, who reaffirmed the Foundation’s ethical, legal, and social commitment to the city and to all residents of Seville.

• Open Q&A session, during which we answered all questions raised by attendees, in an exercise of genuine and unfiltered dialogue.

As a gesture of appreciation, we presented attendees with a commemorative badge marking the Foundation’s 20th anniversary, along with a QR code offering direct access to all official project documentation—because we firmly believe that clear and accessible information is the best tool against misinformation.

We hope that this presentation helps everyone interested to understand the true scope, social benefits, and full legal compliance of the Seville Islamic Cultural Centre project. Our aim is to ensure that no one is left uninformed about the reality of the project, beyond rumours or self-serving interpretations.
