In February 2015, the Seville Mosque Foundation made the first official trip to Malaysia for the presentation of the project of the Islamic Cultural Center of Seville. On this first trip, the delegation was received by the Speaker of Parliament, Tan Sri Abu Zahar, the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Abdullah, the Governor of Sarawak, Tun Pehin Tayib Mahmud, etc.
