END OF RAMADAN ANNOUNCEMENT – 1437/2016
The Amir of the Islamic Community in Spain announces that having been sighted the crescent of the moon in the reference area, the day of today concludes the holy month of Ramadan. And it is tomorrow, Wednesday July 6th, the day 1 of the month of Shawwal, and therefore, the feast of Eid al Fitr.
Allah says in the Qur’an:
“Allah wants for you easy and not the difficult, but wants you to complete the number (of days) and to be proclaim the greatness of Allah for having guided you. You would be grateful! ”
Coran, 2-185
Congratulations to the entire Muslim community in this day of celebration. We ask Allah to accept the effort of fasting, to fill it with a great reward and seal it, with an Eid day full of blessings.
