109. SURA DE LOS INCRÉDULOS

Mequi. Of 6 verses. It descended after the sura of “The indispensable help”.

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate.

(1) Say: Unbelievers!

(2) I do not worship what you worship.

(3) nor do you worship what I worship.

(4) I will not worship what you worship,

(5) nor will you worship what I worship.

(6) To you your worship and to me mine. * In Arabic “din”, so that it can also be understood: “To you your reward and to me mine”; i.e., you shall have the reward of your deeds and I shall have the reward of mine.
