XVII Conference on Islamic Culture, Almonaster la Real, Huelva.

The Islamic Community in Spain returns to Almonaster for its XVII Conference on Islamic Culture.
Since its inception, 16 years ago, the Almonaster Islamic Culture Days have had the presence and participation of the Islamic Community in Spain, a fact that has always given these days a real character, exposing the reality of Islam in the past and present.
For reasons beyond their organization, last year they could not participate so their absence was noticed.
The Culture Area ofthe Almonaster City Council, sponsored by the government team of this City Council, has held meetings with representatives of the Community so that this year they return to have the weight they had from the beginning.

As a result of these meetings, the community returns to Almonaster where they will not only be in the area of the morería (market), as is traditional, in addition to this, they will offer a conference entitled “Muslim women with eight Andalusian surnames”, on Saturday, October 15 in the Blas Infante Hall at 12:00 p.m.
In addition to this talk-colloquium that promises to be very interesting, on Saturday the evening of dhikra and dinner at the Mosque returns to which everyone is invited.
And as a culmination, we will be able to enjoy an explanation of the Mosque from the point of view of the Community with the exhibition “The Mosque: Living Space in Islam”, made by Professor Khalid Nieto.
Salat (prayers) will also be established in public and there will be an institutional stand with books, newspapers and information for anyone interested in Islam.
